Beginner Swimming Lessons for KidsOur Beginner Swimming Lessons are for kids of 2 years and onwards. The Beginner Swimming Lessons can be taken by kids with little or no swimming knowledge. This Swimming Program focuses on basics and is only necessary for kids who have no swimming knowledge.

Kids love the water and starting them off early with Swimming Lessons will prove fruitful. They learn faster and are receptive to instructions. While it is a delight teaching them, it is equally delightful watching them learn and seeing their personalities develop.

Not only will you see their performance better, you will be able to map your child's progress throughout the program with our quarterly grading tests and Progress Chart. All your questions of how your child is faring and what comes next will be answered with our Progress Chart.

Teddy Bear Series
Learning to Swim as soon as they Walk

The Teddy Bear Series are for children of 2 – 4 years of age and incorporate games, water awareness, confidence and forward propulsion. There are 3 levels in this series.

This module is designed to take a child's fear of water to embracing and being confident in water situations, ensuring that they are comfortable in water, which could be a lifesaver in the future. Children have fun, laugh and chuckle during our fun and interactive water exercises and these exercises also help them become physically fit.

Children in this age group are naturally curious and like to push the limits. They might have been exposed to water before but may not understand the dangers associated with it.

They may not fully understand instructions yet or have not developed the necessary motor skills to learn a stroke.

In the Teddy Bear Series, age-appropriate basic water awareness skills are taught to build their confidence and are easy to follow and perform. These skills are helpful when they progress to the Frog Series, the next level on the Progress Chart.

Syllabus in the Teddy Bear Series:

Frog Certificate Teddy Bear 1
Enter the water from poolside with or without help.
Splash water onto the face.
Walk 5 metres in the pool with help.
Be pulled through the water for 5 metres on the tummy.
Be pulled through the water for 5 metres on the back.
Perform starfish float on the front.
Perform starfish float on the back.
Frog Certificate Teddy Bear 2
Walk 5 metres in the pool without help.
Blow bubbles.
Put face into the water.
Be pulled through the water for 10 metres on the tummy and 10 metres on the back.
Reach the side of the pool without help from a distance of 2 metres.
Turn 360 degrees without touching the bottom.
Frog Certificate Teddy Bear 3
Jump, without help, into the water.
When in water, turn around and swim to the poolside.
Swim unassisted for 5 metres on the front.
Swim unassisted for 5 metres on the back.
Pick up an object from the bottom of the pool unassisted.
Climb out of the pool unassisted.

Frog Series
Building on Confidence and Learning

The Frog Series are designed for children of 5 years and above. There are 3 levels in this series.

In this module, older children will find the lessons interesting, as they will be taught proper skills and stroke techniques. It is important to build proper techniques so that they will be kept water safe and their foundation stronger.

Learning a skill at a younger age also instills discipline and confidence, important values they will take away from our Swimming Lessons.

The Frog Series focuses on building confidence in the water while introducing proper breaststroke and freestyle techniques.

This level prepares children adequately for the SwimSafer Program, which is the next level.

Syllabus in the Frog Series:

Frog Certificate FROG 1
Walk 5 metres in the pool without help
Bob up and down 5 times
Perform starfish float on the front
Perform starfish float on the back
Perform freestyle kick with float for 10 metres
Perform a front glide
Swim 5 metres
Frog Certificate FROG 2
Jump into the water from the side
Bob up and down 10 times
Perform freestyle kick with float for 25 metres
Perform breaststroke kick with float for 25 metres
Swim 10 metres using breaststroke
Swim 10 metres using freestyle
Frog Certificate FROG 3
Tread water for 30 seconds
Drown-proofing for 30 seconds
Perform freestyle kick with float for 50 metres
Perform breaststroke kick with float for 50 metres
Swim 25 metres using breaststroke
Swim 25 metres using freestyle
Pick up an object from the bottom of the pool unassisted

Swimming Rates

One-on-One Lesson from $240 per month
2 pax in a class from $130 per pax per month
3 pax in a class from $90 per pax per month
4 pax and above in a class mostpopular from $70 per pax per month

Children, include adults, derive the highest satisfaction from learning in a group setting. Form your own group and we will send a Swim Coach to your doorstep.

The above rates are applicable for all types of classes except for Corporate, Childcare Centre and Country Club Swimming Programs.

The rates might differ for Referral Classes, Adult Classes and Female Coaches. Kindly check with us for more information.
